  1. We would like to remind everyone that any glass for recycling should, whenever possible, be placed in the container in front of  Angelica Place. Last year, the Parish Council received over £200 for the glass taken away. By NOT putting glass in your black wheelie bin or any other recycling point, that figure could be much more and enhance the finances of Griston.

    Thank you,

    The Parish Council

  2. The subject of dog fouling was discussed at the recent Parish Council meeting after complaints had been received from two residents. The Parish Council does not have the powers to prosecute offenders but incidents can be reported to Breckland District Council's Dog Warden, details of which can be found at http://www.breckland.gov.uk/content/dog-fouling. You can ring the Dog Warden on 01362 858500 or alternatively text or leave a message on 07771 617417, which is an unmanned number.

If the problem persists, the siting of signs around the village (possibly on the bins provided for dog waste) could be considered by the Council.
